Rotary dryer is a kind of drying equipment for processing large quantities of materials. The Dryer can be used for drying products such as Turmeric, Ginger, Pepper, Maize, Pulses, leaves and other agricultural produce. It consists of a Rotating Drum which is mounted on two rigid stands. This also houses a suitable drive arrangement.

The Hot air is generated by means of an indirect Heat Exchanger which ensures that flue gases from the furnace for drying the product. The Heat Exchanger is wood fired or optionally provided with a diesel Burner, with an automatic temperature controller, in order to allow for unattended and trouble-free operation of the machine.
