A Corn Mint leaves oil distillation plant is a dedicated facility designed to extract essential oil from the leaves of Mentha arvensis, commonly known as corn mint or field mint. Corn mint oil is one of the richest natural sources of menthol, making it highly valuable in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, oral care, and flavoring industries.

The extraction process uses steam distillation. Fresh or partially dried corn mint leaves are loaded into stainless steel distillation chambers. Steam is passed through the leaves to vaporize the volatile aromatic compounds. These vapors are then cooled and condensed, and the oil is separated from the mint hydrosol using a Florentine separator. The collected essential oil is typically further processed (fractionated or crystallized) to isolate menthol crystals or to refine the oil.
